This ALBA seminar series is aimed at junior practitioners and provides a step-by-step introduction to judicial review. The series is divided into six sessions and the topics covered are: 

  • The scope for judicial review;
  • Human Rights Act 1998;
  • Procedural issues;
  • Preparing a case for judicial review;
  • Application for permission; and
  • Preparing and conducting a substantive hearing.
